Air Force takes AHA title

For the second straight year it came down to Air Force vs. RIT. And for the second straight year the Falcons emerged victorious with a shutout. It’s the Falcons fifth title in six years. Unlike last year’s final, this one had little drama. The Falcons jumped out to a 2-0 in the first period and never looked back.

After a rough weekend against UConn in the quarterfinals, Jason Torf bounced back to earn Tournament MVP honors. In all, the Falcons took five of the six All-Tournament team spots. The only non-Falcon to make it was Taylor McReynolds from RIT.

The Falcons now must take on No. 1 Boston College in the NCAA Tournament.
