1. Air Force – The Falcons continue to roll. A sweep of AIC this weekend gives the Falcons four straight wins. They outscored AIC 15-6 on the weekend. Kyle De Laurell continues to have a career year. He has already set a career high with 11 goals. His 21 points lead Atlantic Hockey. He is on a six game point streak in which he has accumulated 12 points, including six goals. The Falcons don’t play again until Dec. 30 and 31.

2. Mercyhurst – After a winless weekend, the Lakers got back to winning with a win and tie against Army. Chirs Bodo continues to impress in his freshman year. He had three points on the weekend, including two goals. He now has recorded at least one point in seven of the Lakers last 10 games. The Lakers travel to upstate New York to take on Canisius and Niagara.

3. RIT – The Tigers have taken at least one point in six of their last seven conference games. And that has vaulted them up to third in the standings. This streak was started with the return of Shane Madolora in net. Michael Colavecchia has recorded at least one point in five of the last seven games. The Tigers power play continues to struggle putting the puck in the net. They have just eight power play goals on the season. The Tigers host AIC this weekend.

4. Holy Cross – The Crusaders won for the third time in four games with their sweep of Canisius. Andrew Cox continues to be on a roll. He has recorded in points in four of the last five games, including three goals in the two games against Canisius. Adam Schmidt also ended a four game pointless stretch with a goal and an assist. The Crusaders host Army this Saturday.

5. Robert Morris – The Colonials are on a five game unbeaten streak. They scored 15 goals against Sacred Heart, including 10 on Saturday. Eight different Colonials scored on Saturday, with Scott Janklin and Trevor Lewis each scoring twice. Janklin now has nine points on the season, all of which have come during a current five game point streak. He has scored at least one goal in all five game. He now leads the team with six goals. The Colonials host Niagara and Canisius this weekend.

6. Canisius – The Golden Griffins were swept by Holy Cross. It was the first time that the Golden Griffins had given up three or more goals in back-to-back games since Nov. 11 and 12. Kyle Gibbons scored his team leading fifth goal of the year, while Scott Moser scored just his third goal of the season. Moser has struggled this  year. He has just four points on the year after back-to-back 20 point seasons. The Golden Griffins play Mercyhurst and Robert Morris this weekend.

7. Bentley – Bentley continues to struggle. They haven’t won since Nov. 12. Mike Switzer scored twice and Brett Hartung added two assists on the weekend, but it wasn’t enough. The Falcons jumped out to early leads in both games but couldn’t hold them. The Falcons will try and end this stretch when they travel to UConn on Friday.

8. Niagara – The Purple Eagles haven’t lost since Nov. 22, and that was a 1-0 game at Cornell. In fact, of the Purple Eagles five losses, only one has been by more than one goal. Scott Arnold scored twice on Friday for his first multiple goal game since Oct. 21. He leads the team with six goals on the season. The Purple Eagle will face Mercyhurst and Robert Morris this weekend.

9. UConn – The Huskies have won just once in the last five games. This stretch has dropped the Huskies to ninth in the standings. Brant Harris continued to impress byt scoring twice against RIT. He has already scored more goals (10) than he did his freshman season. The Huskies power play continues to produce, as they scored twice on the mad advantage this weekend. The Huskies face Bentley on Friday.

10. AIC – The Yellow Jackets had another long weekend, being outscored 15-6 by Air Force. Nielsson Arcibal and Adam Pleskach had a goal and assist each. Arcibal now has a four game point streak and also has points in five of the last six games. The Yellow Jackets will have their hands full when they travel to RIT.

11. Army – While the Black Knights again didn’t get a win this weekend, it was still their fifth straight weekend getting at lest one point. The Black Knights lead the league with four ties. The Black Knights travel to Holy Cross on Saturday.

12. Sacred Heart – The Pioneers continue to struggle. They surrendered 15 goals to Robert Morris, while scoring just six. The Pioneers could continue their struggles this weekend as they travel to Quinnipiac on Friday.
