Wisconsin vs. Michigan State  2/20/15 UW 2, MSU 1

This game was close until the second period, when the Badgers held a 2-0 lead entering the last frame. Wisconsin had a higher Corsi close of 52.54 percent during 5-on–5 play. The Spartans finished with a higher 5-on-5 Corsi, but that’s due to inflated possession numbers from the third period.

This game was close until midway through the first, when Michigan State held a 2-0 lead. While it’s a very small sample size, Michigan State’s Corsi close was 66.67 percent.

Ohio State vs. Michigan  2/20/15 OSU 5, UM 3

Corsi close spanned the first two periods, and Michigan had the edge with a 58.46 percent Corsi close.

Ohio State vs. Michigan  2/21/15 OSU 2, UM 5

This game was close until the second, when Michigan scored to earned a 3-0 lead. Michigan’s Corsi close was 60 percent.

Penn State vs. Minnesota 2/20/15 PSU 1, Minn 2

Minnesota had the higher Corsi close of 52.78 percent, spanning the first period and early into the second.

Penn State vs. Minnesota 2/21/15 PSU 4, Minn 3 OT

This game was close until the third period, as Penn State entered with the lead. Minnesota tied it very late, and Penn State won in overtime. Minnesota’s Corsi close was 50.63 percent.
